Eloise S. McGarry – Director of Support Services
Eloise (Ellie) McGarry has worked as the District Director of Support Services since 1992. Her department oversees and coordinates services for students identified for services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Section 504, Act 117, English as a Second Language, and McKinley Homeless Education Act. She oversees the district wide Medicaid Program and coordinates programs with community agencies to assist Rutland City students and their families. She served on the board of Rutland Mental Health Services for 9 years. She is currently President of the Vermont Council of Special Education Administrators. Ellie received her BS Degree in Special Education from Bloomsburg University in 1980. She received a Masters in Special Education Degree from the University of Vermont in 1991 and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Intensive Special Education also from the University of Vermont in 1992.
