On November, 14, 2023, the Rutland City Board of School Commissioners voted to endorse the Vermont Declaration of Inclusion.  The Declaration of Inclusion is a Vermont-based grass roots effort to highlight the commitment of Vermont communities and institutions toward establishing a culture of belonging.  By adopting the Declaration, the Rutland Board and our schools strive for the fair and equal treatment of everyone in our school community; we welcome all people; and we aim to ensure that every member of our schools feels safe and an integral part of the Rutland City School District. 

Who We Are

The Rutland City Public Schools is located in Rutland Vermont. We serve the City of Rutland and the surrounding school districts through school choice at the Rutland High School and Stafford Technical Center.

 

What Sets Us Apart

We are growing and changing to meet the needs of students. During the 2022-2023 school year, a committee of diverse community members and students gathered to consider a post-pandemic vision for our school system.
