POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING

October 15, 2024

Commissioner Bossi called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM. 

Agenda approved by consensus. 

No member of the public offered public comment.

Discussion about the use of common font through all published policies.  Mrs. McKeen agreed that will proceed as the committee reviews each policy in its regular cycle.

Review of Policy 6110, Goals and Objectives of the Personnel System Policy.  Sent to first reading, approved by consensus.

Review of Policy 6214, Substitute Teachers.  Sent to first reading, approved by consensus.

Review of Policy 6410, Employee Legal Defense.  Sent to first reading, approved by consensus.

Review of Policy 6421, Jury Duty.  Sent to first reading, approved by consensus.

Review of Policy 6420 Leaves of Absence.  The committee tabled discussion on this policy until the next meeting.

Motion to Adjourn Neary/ Carney.  Passed by consensus of the Committee at 6:00 PM.
