Longfellow Staff Kicks Off 2019 United Way Campaign with 2nd Annual Chili Cook Off & PATH Pot Luck!

The Staff at Longfellow kicked off their 2019 United Way Campaign with the 2nd Annual Longfellow Chili Cook Off and PATH Pot Luck.  Judges and Special Guests included:  Key People/RCPS United Way Building Coordinators from our schools, Dan Warnecke (Assistant Executive Director, United Way of Rutland County) and folks from our Department of Buildings, Grounds and Transportation.  We also were very fortunate to host two student led entries!  We collected $230 in our donation jar and we will begin our payroll deduction pledge campaign on October 17th

 The 2nd Annual Longfellow Chili Cook Off and PATH Pot Luck Winners:

 Chili Champion Runner UP – Meaghan Marsh and “The Soup Group” for “Chilli”

  • Winner of the all NEW Side Dish/Dessert Category – Sherri Bersaw for “Apple Cider Cupcakes with Maple Frosting”

AND

  • The 2019 Chili Champions – Aroura Campbell, Ruben Bostock, Ms. Hughes and Rudy for “ASC Two Alarm Chili”

Winners received “Bragging Rights” and an exclusive apron.

 We’re off to a GREAT start!  LIVE UNITED!
