STC Summer 2018 Kids Laser Cut, Extract DNA, Build for Habitat and Use DSLR Cameras

This week at Stafford Technical Center our construction campers continue their work building walls for the Habitat for Humanity house. The week for them will end with the Home Depot sponsored recognition event complete with tool boxes for all construction campers.
Our STEM: Inside Out Campers are working with cutting technology, laser cutting that is! Campers are using computers to design plates to be cut and etched with our laser cutting system. They also extracted DNA and did some measurement activities.
In Digital Photography campers are using  DSLR cameras to explore focus, depth of field, and macro settings.  Their work will be on display on Friday, July 20th at the end of camp.
